School Holiday Policies

**Code of conduct for parents**
As a parent of a participant in any activity held by or under the auspices of Bounce Gymnastics you must:
- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion
- Remember that your child participates in sport for their own enjoyment, not yours 
- Never ridicule or yell at your child and other children for making a mistake
- Show appreciation for good performance by all gymnasts, including other gymnasts 
- Demonstrate a high degree of individual responsibility especially when dealing with or in the vicinity of persons under 18 years of age, as your words and actions are an example 
- Respect the decisions made by coaches and use appropriate methods of expressing concern 
- Do not physically or verbally abuse or harass anyone associated with gymnastics (participant, coach, staff, etc) 
- Accept that the use of swearing, derogatory terms and other inappropriate language in the gym or around gymnasts will not be tolerated 
- Be a positive role model 
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity 
- Understand the repercussions if you breach, or are aware of any breaches of this code 
- Make sure your flash is turned off as no photography is to be taken during training sessions (See: Photographic and video policy)

**Code of conduct for participants & families**
As a member of Bounce Gymnastics, you must meet the following requirements in regard to your conduct during any activity held or sanctioned by Bounce Gymnastics: 
- Act within the rules and spirit of your sport 
- Encourage and support opportunities for people to learn appropriate behaviours and skills 
- Support opportunities for participation in all aspects of the sport 
- Treat each person as an individual 
- Be professional in, and accept responsibility for, your actions 
- Show respect and courtesy to all involved with the sport 
- Respect the rights and worth of every person, regardless of their age, race, gender, ability, cultural background, sexuality or religion 
- Respect the decisions of coaches and administrators 
- Wherever practical, avoid unaccompanied and unobserved one-on-one activity (when in a supervisory capacity or where a power imbalance exists) with people under the age of 18  
- Display appropriate and responsible behaviour in all interactions 
- Display responsible behaviour in relation to alcohol and other drugs 
- Act with integrity and objectivity, and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions 
- Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a safe environment 
- Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a harassment-free environment 
- Do not tolerate abusive, bullying or threatening behaviour 
- Give your best at all times 
- Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit 
- Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials, sledging others or deliberately distracting or provoking others is not acceptable or permitted behaviours in any sport 
- Treat all participants in your sport as you like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor. 
Management reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel a membership or request a person to leave a premises. If a person does not adhere to the below codes of conduct.

 **Holiday Clinics and other events**
All of our events must be booked in prior to the event with all having capped numbers. Events will also have a cut off for when registrations will be taken up until. Children will unfortunately need to be turned away if they are not booked in, in advance. No Make up classes or credits will be provided for missing a booking.

**Inaccurate contact details**
I understand that if I do not provide accurate and up to date contact information I may miss out on important and timely information which might affect enrollment, missed opportunities and the ability for Bounce Gymnastics to contact me if an incident occurs.

**Late Pick-Up Policy**
If your child is left at the gym without an approved guardian to pick them up: 
1. We will have them try to call their parents. 
2. If you can't be reached, and it is 15 minutes past the end of the last class, we will call the emergency number listed in your account. 
3. If we can't reach anyone to collect the child after 20 minutes past the end of the last class, we will call the police and have them come to collect the child. The police will contact you. 
4. Please remember to pick up your child promptly 
5. Please be mindful of your child's class ending time. A late parent pick up fee of $10 per 15 minutes will be added to your account anytime this occurs.

**Medical Emergency**
In case of emergency I hereby give consent to certified Bounce Gymnastics personnel and/or health professionals to administer emergency first aid to the gymnast and/or obtain medical and/or ambulance assistance as required. I agree to pay any costs incurred in relation to this.

**Release of Liability**
I agree that Bounce Gymnastics and its coaches, volunteers, officers, leaders, staff and agents shall be released from and shall not incur any responsibility or liability whatsoever, for any accident or injury to the gymnast or for any damage to, or loss of, property of the gymnast.

**Active Kids Vouchers**
Bounce Gymnastics is registered to accept Active Kids Vouchers. Active kids vouchers can only be applied to programs of 8 weeks or longer. We do not accept the Creative kids or Before&After+Vacation Care Vouchers. Follow these steps to redeem. 
1. Email your voucher to bouncegym@yahoo.com.au 
2. In the subject for the email put your child's name followed AKV 
3. In the email you MUST include your child's DOB - please double check you have the correct year of birth and not the current year before sending 
Once we have received the funds from Service NSW, we will credit it to your account, which will be shown through the parent portal. 
These vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
