2025 Classes

Kindy gym - 2025
discounts will be applied for public holidays
Fees are charged fortnightly

Our Kindygym classes are designed for children aged 18 months and up to 5 years and provide a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for little ones to explore movement and develop essential skills. Parents or carers are actively involved, staying with their child throughout the class to guide and encourage them as they participate in activities led by our coach. Each session includes a warm-up, two 10-minute activity circuits, and a cool-down, helping children develop gross motor, fine motor, and sensory skills. Through hands-on exploration and play, children are encouraged to think creatively, problem-solve, and discover. indygym is based on child development principles, using equipment setups that are safe, engaging, and full of movement opportunities. The program also supports coordination, confidence, and self-esteem, while emphasizing the important role of parents or carers in the learning process. Kindygym proves that children learn best when they play, explore, and actively participate in discovering their abilities — making every class a fun and meaningful learning experience.

Recreation Classes 4.5+ years

Our Recreation Classes are for school aged children, aged 4.5 and up, who wish to learn basics of gymnastics.

Each child will be graded within these classes between 6 different coloured grades. White, Silver, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Purple.

The children in each timeslot will warm up together and then be split into groups based on their grade colour which is a combination of age and ability.

Children participate in a range of activities, using gymnastics equipment, to develop general fine motor and gross motor skills, as well as level appropriate gymnastics specific skills. This is the prerequisite class for the intermediate classes.

Recreation Grading Sessions

Grading sessions are held each term, typically between weeks 2 and 9, and provide a valuable opportunity for both parents and children to receive structured feedback on progress. These sessions help determine if a child is ready to advance to the next colour level, ensuring their skills continue to develop at an appropriate pace.

Each grading session is a one-on-one assessment lasting 10–15 minutes with a senior coach, who carefully evaluates the quality, technique, and consistency of the skills your child has been learning in class. Beyond simply assessing ability, grading sessions are designed to celebrate achievements, build confidence, and motivate continued improvement.

By participating in grading sessions, children gain a clear understanding of their strengths and areas to focus on, while parents receive expert guidance on how to support their child’s ongoing development. It’s a positive, encouraging, and informative experience that complements every gymnast’s learning journey.
