Bounce Gymnastics prides itself on delivering high-quality classes that are thoughtfully structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. As of 2025, Bounce Gymnastics has proudly become part of the Fit n Fun Academy family, allowing us to expand our offerings across two convenient locations—Bounce Gymnastics in Giraween and Fit n Fun Academy in Jamisontown, Penrith. Each centre maintains the same welcoming, community-focused atmosphere while providing access to a wider range of programs and opportunities for our gymnasts. Our classes are led by accredited, experienced, and passionate coaches who are committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment for every child. We aim to inspire confidence, build strong foundations, and ensure each gymnast feels encouraged, challenged, and celebrated throughout their journey with us.

Kindy gym - 2026
discounts will be applied for public holidays
Fees are charged fortnightly

Our Kindy gym classes are designed for children aged 18 months and up to 5 years and provide a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for little ones to explore movement and develop essential skills. Parents or carers are actively involved, staying with their child throughout the class to guide and encourage them as they participate in activities led by our coach. Each session includes a warm-up, two 10-minute activity circuits, and a cool-down, helping children develop gross motor, fine motor, and sensory skills. Through hands-on exploration and play, children are encouraged to think creatively, problem-solve, and discover. Kindy gym is based on child development principles, using equipment setups that are safe, engaging, and full of movement opportunities. The program also supports coordination, confidence, and self-esteem, while emphasizing the important role of parents or carers in the learning process. Kindy gym proves that children learn best when they play, explore, and actively participate in discovering their abilities — making every class a fun and meaningful learning experience.

Recreation Classes 4+ years

Our Recreation Classes are designed for school-aged children, aged 4 and up, who wish to learn the foundational skills of gymnastics in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Within these classes, each child is graded across six coloured levels—White, Silver, Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Purple. Classes are organised first by age and then by skill level to ensure children learn alongside peers at a similar stage of development.

Children are grouped according to their grade colour, which reflects both their age and ability. Throughout each session, gymnasts participate in a variety of activities using a wide range of gymnastics equipment to develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as level-appropriate gymnastics-specific skills. This class is the prerequisite for entry into our intermediate pathway.

Our coaches continually monitor each gymnast’s progress and may recommend specific squad or competitive classes for those who demonstrate strong talent, potential, and readiness for more advanced training.

Advanced Recreation - 2026

Recreation Grading Sessions

Grading sessions are held each term, typically between weeks 2 and 9, and provide a valuable opportunity for both parents and children to receive structured feedback on progress. These sessions help determine if a child is ready to advance to the next colour level, ensuring their skills continue to develop at an appropriate pace.

Each grading session is a one-on-one assessment lasting 10–15 minutes with a senior coach, who carefully evaluates the quality, technique, and consistency of the skills your child has been learning in class. Beyond simply assessing ability, grading sessions are designed to celebrate achievements, build confidence, and motivate continued improvement.

By participating in grading sessions, children gain a clear understanding of their strengths and areas to focus on, while parents receive expert guidance on how to support their child’s ongoing development. It’s a positive, encouraging, and informative experience that complements every gymnast’s learning journey.
